How much is staging my home going to cost me? I don’t want to spend a lot of money to sell my home…
With a minimal investment for the consultation fee of $125, (credited toward project services upon hiring), the cost for staging can be accurately determined. The cost depends upon the amount of staging that needs to be done and the size of your home. Again, your time and budget controls the scope of the project; it’s all up to you. We do offer several staging packages to accommodate different budgets and client needs, along with an Action Plan for people who would rather tackle the projects themselves, but need a little professional guidance.
My house doesn’t need to be staged to sell…
Dallas’ northern suburbs are a competitive marketplace and the seller must make every effort to capture the buyers’ attention immediately. Every house will sell eventually…it’s a matter of when and for how much. We aspire to help you sell your home for the optimum amount possible. When is the best time to have a home staged?
Before you list the house is the very best time, so no prospective buyer or other realtor sees your house unstaged. If already listed, stage your home before an open house so new or returning prospects will see it at its very best. And definitely stage your house before you consider a price reduction.
What can we expect when an AMH & Co., Home Stager comes to our home?
At the initial consultation, we tour your home just like a potential buyer would with an eye for details. We determine the best way to highlight your home’s features and give our recommendations for changes. Those recommendations may include furniture and accessory arrangement, editing, organizing, and more. After which, we utilize your accessories and decorative items (or suggest investing in additional pieces, which can be done through our personal shopping service) to set the stage in each room, while creating special “emotional connections” throughout your home as we go that will entice the buyers to want to live there.
*It’s always a good idea to have your home detail cleaned before your Home Stager arrives. While we don’t provide cleaning services, we will lightly dust or vacuum as necessary. If you have time, you may want to sort and discard items that you no longer need or want in advance of your appointment.*
